Course of insemination in natural cycle

Here we take good time to talk about the overall examination and the optimal treatment for you.

On the first cycle day, you call us to schedule an appointment for commencement of treatment and an ultrasound scan.

On cycle day 10-12, you are scanned to assess the number and size of your follicles (egg sacs).

Once the egg sacs are ready, an ovulation syringe is administered which completes the maturation of the eggs.

36-40 hours after the ovulation syringe, the insemination is done with your partner’s sperm or donor sperm.

15 days after insemination, you must take a urine pregnancy test. If the test is positive, a blood sample is taken.

If the pregnancy test is positive, we perform an ultrasound scan approximately three weeks later.
