What is IVF?
IVF stands for ‘In Vitro Fertilisation’. This means that fertilisation occurs outside the body in a test tube. IVF is therefore often called ‘test tube treatment’ or ‘artificial fertilisation’. IVF treatment can be provided both with partner sperm and with donor sperm.
